Joomla 3.9 is compatible with php up to 7.4 version, but it seems lanternfish not support php 7.2,
for example an error present:
Deprecated: The each() function is deprecated. This message will be suppressed on further calls in /var/www/html/plugins/system/jfdatabase/jfdatabase_inherit.php on line 301
And it seems to be not only one error with php 7.2.

Do you plan to support php version > 7.0 ?

Hi,
from what we know Lanternfish works ok with PHP 7.2, what you are seeing are just messages about depreceated functions and not errors (also notices are not errors, if you happen to see them). You can disable them if you set error reporting in Joomla to a lower level.
We work on getting rid of this messages in the future, but it will take some time as Lanternfish was developed on the basis of Joomfish and that is a very old code, so there are a lot of place where this needs to be corrected. But as written above, this are harmless messages that are only important for future development, they have no influence on the functionality.
